I dont believe I saw on the rules that there is a certain side to overtake on. As in real trackdays the side to pass on is decided by whether the track is clockwise or anti-clockwise (clockwise = pass on the left, anti-clockwise = pass on the right). Just to add to the reality and would make it easier for both the drivers to pass cleanly if they know which side the car is going to pass or pull over.

I did have a rule like that on the old rules at fm.net, however when I wrote up the new ones on this forum I left it out. I like your idea though, and it's certainly something which we should all consider!

I wouldn't like that either, but with a little fixing I would like it.

I'd say pass on the inside line, so if next turn / current turn you are in, is turning left, the car ahead should leave inside clear, and stay on rightmost lane, and vice versa.
